Why do good local clubs always die? I still want to get in touch with some of the people in this club eventually to collab, but... no updates. :(

What's the point of having a club if nobody shows up to anything?

We are doing something. We're at a Hookah bar. It has a great atmosphere and we're not just going there to eat, y'know. Plus, people can bring their computers - it's a wireless hotspot.

i sense the tension building up ;-) jk...sounds exciting though...as long as some people show up, we could all try to do something after the dinner.

Well, I was hoping people would be able to get a ride or something. I mean, how do the young'uns get everywhere else? And it's not like it's a bar or a club or anyplace where you have to be over 21...

What with gas prices and all, and the fact that alot of VADA members are young, I can see why. But 7:30 sounds good and I think I will be able to make it. great
*LeniR:iconLeniR: Sep 8, 2005, 11:43:20 AM
It's still starting at 7:30. I'll probably be there much later, though. But it looks like not a lot of people are coming.

have you had a meet in dc at the "seven" show at the warehouse? one of your members has their work on display there, i think.
*LeniR:iconLeniR: Aug 28, 2005, 9:23:47 AM
It's on Saturday, September 10th. I just saw that Patrick didn't put that up there. Urgh. So, anyone who wants to come, it's Saturday, 10 September, at 7:30 pm at the King's Cafe. I also posted the address and more information on my journal, if anyone needs it.

Could people who are coming to the event please send me a note to let me know they're attending? I will try to reserve us tables, but need to know how many people will be there first.
